Room Parent Newsletter

It's easy to submit a request for inclusion of your announcement in the Room Parent Newsletter! Simply fill out the form below and we will make sure it gets published if it meets the deadline and submission requirements. 


  • The deadline for submitting an announcement in the Room Parent Newsletter, which is e-mailed on Sunday, is THURSDAY at NOON.

  • If you miss the deadline, your announcement will be included in the next possible communication. Edits to submissions may not be included in the published version of your announcement if received after Thursday at noon.

The Communications Team reviews all submissions and inclusion of an announcement in the RP Newsletter is at the discretion of the BBC Communications Director and BBC Director of Staff Support.

Prior to filling out the form below, please ensure your submission meets these guidelines:

  • Complete submissions must be received by Thursday at 12 p.m. If you need to edit your announcement, we cannot guarantee that edits submitted after Thursday at noon will make it into the published version of your announcement.

  • All submissions must be made through the form below. No submissions or edits to submissions will be accepted via e-mail.

  • Images will not be accepted.

  • Submissions may be edited by the Communications Team for length, especially submissions over 600 characters.

  • Submissions will run in the RP Newsletter and/or be posted on the BBC website for no more than 30 days prior to the event date.

  • Submissions may not include monetary solicitations.

We will do our best to process your request in a timely manner. Tip: If you are only requesting that an event be added to the BBC Calendar and not also requesting that an announcement be included in the RP Newsletter, enter N/A for the asterisked (*) required fields that are not applicable to your Calendar request.
