Thank You for Making Our North Campus Book Fair a Success!
Our Scholastic Book Fair at North Campus was a wonderful celebration of reading, and none of it would be possible without our incredible community.
A reminder of why this event matters so much: our BCS libraries, both North and South, are 100% funded by Book Fair proceeds and run entirely by volunteers. Every book on our shelves is a gift from this community, to this community.
To the volunteers who gave their time to organize, staff, and run this year’s fair, thank you. You didn’t just raise funds, you helped build a love of reading that will stay with our kids for years to come, and to every family who shopped and supported the fair, thank you for investing in our children’s love of books.
Here’s to more stories, more pages turned, and more magic in our libraries this year.
Upcoming: South Book Fair: Oct 24-30
The BCS Book Fair will be held in the MPR at NORTH Campus from MONDAY 9/14 to Saturday 9/19 - COME VISIT US!
This year, the North Book Fair will be provided by Scholastic Books!
Instead of sending your child to the fair with cash or a credit card, you can create an eWallet. Easy for families to set up, easy for others to contribute. eWallet lets your child shop independently and choose books they want to read. After the Fair, any unspent funds become a Scholastic eGift balance that can be used at a future Fair or to shop online.
Parents are invited to shop before school & after school, and students can also shop at recess & lunch. As always, teachers will be creating Wish Boxes for their classrooms. Any books you purchase will be donated directly to your teacher's class.
SUPPORT OUR LIBRARIES! ALL PROCEEDS from the book fair will fund the North and South campus libraries.
BOOK FAIR WEEK! Open for parents, siblings, and students before school (7:45-8:45 am) and after school (3-4 pm), and during recess/lunch for students. We will also be open during the Fall Family Dinner on Saturday 9/19 for families to visit.
SET UP an eWallet! Parents can create a eWallet digital payment account and prepay any amount. Students can spend the gift card amount at the book fair without exceeding the limit set by their parents.
CLASSROOM WISH BOOKS! Students love selecting and donating books to their classroom from their teachers’ wish boxes. Support your teacher by getting a book for your classroom.
VOLUNTEER! We can't do it without wonderful parent volunteers. There are shifts before school, during lunch recess, after school and during Walkathon! Anytime we don't have enough volunteers, we can't open the fair. Please donate your time today! Sign up here.
