COUNSELORS IN TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES!
Hi parents of BCS alums,Do your high schoolers want to hone their leadership skills while having some fun this summer? BBC is partnering with BCS staff team to continue the Bullis Summer Camp and is looking for CIT's. Bullis Summer Camp was founded 9 years ago by four amazing moms from the BCS community as a way to pay back to our community, particularly to the families from the surrounding underserved neighborhood. This year in addition to the BCS onsite program, we expanded the program to Christopher School, a Title One school in South San Jose. The application for CIT’s are open. We are looking for responsible current 9th graders and above to join the team and help manage the camp together. CITs will receive training in youth development, communication, leadership, activity planning, safety, and relationship building. CITs then put their skills into practice, getting involved directly with our campers, including lesson planning and spending the week working alongside experienced educators while serving an underserved student population. CITs will qualify for up to 40 community service hours as part of the program.Training Dates: Sunday, July 18 and Sunday, July 25
