General FAQ
Q: Why should I register on Bullis Boosters Club Website?
https://www.bullisboostersclub.org is the website for the Bullis Boosters Club. The platform is called Membership Toolkit. This system allows you to sign up for volunteer opportunities, order spirit wears, receive the classroom ambassador emails, search our student directory and more – in just a few simple online steps. Please read more here why to create your BBC account and how.
Q: I don’t know the name of my child’s teacher yet. Can I still register?
Yes! We hope you’ll go online and create an account right away. Go to https://www.bullisboostersclub.org and click on register. Once you receive your child’s teacher assignment, just log back in and add that information next to your student’s name.
Q: How do I manage my account?
Logged in users can click on their name in the login box. This will take them to the Profile Menu where they can manage most everything about their account including their login email and password, subscriptions. They can also view messages, previous orders, and membership information.
Q: Should my spouse/partner have a separate account? What if we want separate accounts?
One family record can list two separate address and contact details – or each adult can register individually and be listed separately in the student directory. When possible, we recommend creating a single account so that all information including volunteer signs ups, completed forms and purchases, and directory information is stored in one place. When a primary user creates an account, there is a space to invite other email addresses to access the account. This secondary user will have his or her own login information but also have access to the family account, be listed in the directory and receive communications from your classroom ambassadors and BBC. Both adults on the account will be able to sign up for volunteer opportunities and make purchases.
Q: I've registered on the BBC Website, but I can’t access the student directory.
You have to be a BBC member to access the online student directory. You could purchase your BBC membership here.
Q: I changed my email address. How do I update my Membership Toolkit login?
To update your email address, log in to https://www.bullisboostersclub.org and go to your Account Profile by clicking on your name in the Login Box. Select the Access tab and complete the information in the "Invite Others" section to invite another email address to access to your Account Profile. This is where you will put your new email address, but be sure to use your current password. Then, click "send invite” to receive an email at your new email address. Just click on the link in that email to confirm your new email address then you will be directed to select a password for your new email address. You can go back and delete your original email address by logging in with your new email address, going to your Account Profile once again, and removing the old login email address from the record.
Q: How can I change my password?
There are two ways to change your password –
- If you are logged in to https://www.bullisboostersclub.org, click on your name in the Login Box at the top of your screen. This will take you to the Profile Menu where you can manage most everything about your account, including changing your password.
- If you can’t remember your password, click on “I forgot my password” from the login page. The system will ask you to enter your email address and will send an email with a URL link to reset your password.
Q: Is there a mobile app for my phone?
The Membership Toolkit App is available for free in the Apple Store and in Google Play. Just search for “MembershipToolkit” and look for the Membership Toolkit icon.
If you are a first time user or an inactive user you must create or update your account through the website. If you log in and see an error message "no organizations available" or you do not see an organization that you should, you need to go to that organization's Membership Toolkit website on your browser and first log in through the browser.
Q: What if I don’t want my personal information visible to other users?
You can select which information is visible to other users when you register – and you can change it at any time. Even if you don’t want your information seen by others, you’ll still want to register so you can receive communication from BBC.
Q: Why do I need to update my personal and student information every year?
Your students will be automatically promoted to next grade every year during the summer. We still need you to add the student's teacher or Middle School group to keep our online directory up-to-date. For students TK-5, you are required to add the teacher to access the class' Ambassador message board and receive the weekly Ambassador emails.
If you have never logged into your BBC account since July, your account status will change to Inactive after the first few weeks of school and you will be removed from our online directory and communication email lists. You could activate your account again anytime but we strongly recommend every returning family to update their account by the first week of school.
Q: We are no longer at BCS. Will you remove us from the directory and stop sending us emails?
Yes! During the summer, all our 8th grade graduates will be updated to be alumni and marked as inactive students. A family with only inactive students will be marked inactive and removed from our online directory and email lists.
For students TK-7, BBC doesn't have any information whether the students are staying at BCS for next year or not unless parents choose to share with us. This is also why we are asking every returning family to update your student's information after summer socials. After the first few weeks of school, the families who haven't logged into their BBC account will be marked inactive and removed from our online directory and email lists. If you are no longer at BCS, we may still send you emails during the summer and the first few weeks of school because we don't want you to miss important updates if you are returning.
If you would like to update with us earlier, you could visit your account and mark the students to be inactive, or email us at bullisboosterscomms@gmail.com and we would be happy to help.
Q: I still have questions. Can you help?
We’re happy to help anytime. Just contact bullisboosterscomms@gmail.com.
